A quick kitchen safety reminder during the warm weather

With the warm weather expected this week, many of us will be making the most of the sunshine and getting through the washing.

It might be tempting to use the hob as a temporary resting place for the laundry basket, but it's not worth the risk.

Children or pets could accidentally switch the hob on, and we've attended fires caused by items left on hobs.

Keep your hob clear and only use it for cooking.
